A prominent trucking company with hubs in Texas, Missouri, and Arkansas, Tri-National, Inc. is known for reliable, safe cargo transport. With company leadership passionate about actively supporting nonprofit organizations, Tri-National, Inc., has made donations to the Kilo organization that supports youth with diabetes, as well as the KUTO (Kids Under Twenty One) suicide prevention organization.
As part of its work to raise awareness about youth suicide and prevent it from happening, KUTO has published on its website red flags that may mean someone you know is at risk of suicide. Many people who are having thoughts of suicide exhibit marked changes in their behavior, emotional state, or level of social engagement. Warning signs that a young person may need extra support or even professional intervention may include significant fluctuations in weight, noticeable changes in personality, an unwillingness to communicate or interact with others, and use of drugs and alcohol. In addition, people who have recently experienced a life-changing event, such as the loss of a loved one, an unplanned pregnancy, or the diagnosis of a serious illness, may be more at-risk of suicide due to increased emotional and physical stress.
